All about perspective my dear. Scott Brown wasn't as bad as some of the others mentioned, he managed to keep his pants on and not throw up at any parties. Elizabeth Warren appears to be a smart lady, but with brilliance there's quite often some weird stuff to go with it. Frankly, there are some things I really respect about JFK and RFK. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend a trip to Arlington National Cemetary. JFK's burial site with the eternal flame is still emblazened in my memory, even after 30+ years.

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree here. I really think we have concentrations of loonies all over the place. We certainly have more than our quota here in AZ. And from the plethora of "legitimate rape" quotes coming in from various corners of the country, I'd say we need a general enlightenment of the populace.

This bill started to be one to protect email privacy. It will still do that before it becomes law. Debate over the provisions will shape this bill before it becomes law.

If you are so worried about privacy push for repeal of the Patriot Act.

Even the NLB can snoop your email? People connected with Public Employee Unions can snoop your email. The FTC, and others?

So, do you have private emails in your business?
How many holes or leaks do you want in your private emails?
What does it take for an email to go astray, on purpose?
Why don't we all just wear tags with GPS devices?

The Patriot act was the beginning to protect us from terrorist's attacks. I didn't like it when it became law.
Now, it has become an avalanche.
So, there is no privacy expectation.
What is next? Attorney Client violation?
Doctor Patient privacy?
Oh yea, we already lost that with ObamaCare.

So, what do you think? It has a chance? The fact that everyone piled on and wanted to get in on the Bill should tell you something.

And yes, the Patriot Act was supported at a time of crisis even with the objections of the Democrats. But now, since they are running things ..... you don't see it being repealed do you? In fact, the Obama Administration has let it continued to be used so it was just one of their Talking Points when they were not in control. Now, not so much and it is getting worse.

I was looking for a quote from Glory Road and/or Time Enough For Love that deals with when it is time to get off the grid, to leave. I have been unable to find it just now but I will.

We agree that he did devote his life to the service of his country in the Congress. If you call that service......I would have rather watched him serve in the military

This is true, some of those bootleggers actually had some ethics. I was kind of thinking more about the likes of Al Capone.
