Well....the supporters of Israeli aggression seem to have gone rather quite. Looks like even they can't justify Israel's latest 'theft' of Palestinian land.

Before 1967, there was no such thing as a Palestinian. Before then, they were Jordanian, Egyptian and refugees from other countries came to Israel and the Israelis welcomed them. But Israel didn't steal land from Palestine, because there was no Palestine. The Romans drove the Jews out of Israel in 70 ad. Then the Muslims took over after the Romans left. After the Muslims, the Crusaders took it. Then the Ottomans. Finally in 1917, the British took Jerusalem without firing a shot. In 1948, The British returned Israel to the Jews.

Don't talk through your arse pal. There has been mention of 'Palestine' since the 5th century BCE. Here...read, study and inwardly digest:

The first clear use of the term Palestine to refer to the entire area between Phoenicia and Egypt was in 5th century BC Ancient Greece. Herodotus wrote of a 'district of Syria, called Palaistinê" in The Histories, the first historical work clearly defining the region, which included the Judean mountains and the Jordan Rift Valley. Approximately a century later, Aristotle used a similar definition in Meteorology, writing "Again if, as is fabled, there is a lake in Palestine, such that if you bind a man or beast and throw it in it floats and does not sink, this would bear out what we have said. Strange huh...seeing as Palestine did not exist, according to you, until 1967.

No pal! The British gave the Jews a part of Palestine to live in. The Jews broke out of that area under the Zionist expansion programme and settled on Palestinian land. They have been expanding and stealing Palestinian land ever since. Perhaps you should acquaint yourself with the 'Balfour Declaration' . You might like to pay particular notice to the part that states....

"..the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people....

The declaration:
"His Majesty's government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country."


The Balfour Declaration came from 1917. If there was no Palestine before 1967 then how is there a specific mention of Palestine in the 1917 declaration?
