Meeting on craigslist

Here is my issue... every time I either post or respond to a post on craigslist, I end up getting cold feet about meeting. I really want to but something always stops me. I always get the feeling it is a set-up. I am not sure if this is just me being safe. Does anyone else have this issue? Or had this issue? If so, what did you do to get over it... really want to have some fun but it's not going well. Any help would be appreciated.

I personally would never meet anyone off of craigslist, not even to sell anything.

I am also not into one night "hookups".

nothing satisfying there for me.

I prefer to know the person, and be friends with them.

Me and my partner of 16 years are both married, he lives next door, and both our wives don't give us sex anymore, (Menopause).

We were friends first, and later we decided to take things into our own hands.

The first time that I was meeting in person someone from the Internet, I said "you should tell a trusted friend where we're meeting and arrange to call at a specified time to let your friend know that you're ok. Your friend should be prepared to call you and or look for you if you don't make that call."

I was the first person that TS girl had met and I wanted to set the example of how to be safe meeting someone new. I felt that she was just a little too trusting, even of me mr. Trustworthy... LOL

I have met a few guys on the chat lines and chat rooms a few years ago...nite sure i ever thought about something dangerous happening.....guess when your horny enough you can either feed into the feeling or play it safe.
