Someone comes along and offers you that money and you'll take it, so no, I don't blame the people who borrowed the money... who probably didn't think too much about paying it back...much like the people who borrow from loan-sharks, they often take it out of desperation to get what they want or need.

What I don't understand is the mentality of people that are obsessed with owning guns. Australia identified the problem and were sensible enough to do something about it. Clearly America isn't. Stop whinging about your 'rights' and your 'amendments' and 'constitution'. You have a major problem and you need to grasp the answer that is staring you right in the face. As it said in one of the articles...'you can own a gun provided you can show that you have a NEED to own a gun.

Well PC, to a certain extent opinions are like assholes in that everybody has one but there are no two alike. Obviously that's true because our's definitely differ and so be it.

LOL... come on bro! We see stuff everyday we want! Just because it is there, doesn't mean you over extend yourself defaulting on everything! Sure there were incentives, but not holding the individual accountable is just silly.

They start the clean-up when they eventually arrive.

But on a more serious note ....most people do call the police.
Even when I could have confronted this felon face to face breaking into my vehicle (already loaded for a photo-shoot the next day) I chose to instead remotely set-off the panic alarm instead of firing my weapon.
If he had done anything except run away fast or lay down on the ground I might have done something different. I was prepared but since I could not determine many things about the felon I chose the least hazardous route.
Having a gun does not automatically make one trigger happy. Nor does it make it easier to take a life, or a limb.
But had I been threatened ..... I don't know. Luckily, for both of us ...he ran like the scared thief he was.

And I do hate a thief.
