I'm going to tell you that I believed in Hillery’s ability through out most her tenure as Secretary of State. Back to the point, if you'll make the effort to go back in the archives of this forum to 09-12-2012 you will see that the liberals were talking about a damn movie as being the impetus of the attack in Benghazi. There was strong rebuttal to that. On 09/14/2012 when the bodies of the Ambassador and the other three men killed in Benghazi were returned to the US, Hillary Clinton said the rage and violence aimed at American missions was prompted by "an awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with." but they already knew that was not true.

During resent testimony before Congress it was repeatedly stated that the government knew within hours that the attack was not in retaliation for the damn movie. Knowing that, when pressed to give facts about the Benghazi attack she went into her well rehearsed “WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE” speech. If you gullible enough to believe that it was “well placed indignation” that is your privilege but come on. Really?? She was obviously running interference for her leader and it was damn cowardly of him to permit her to do that.

I think a lot of people made that assumption including me and the White House. The demonstrations from the movie were all over the news that day all over the Mid East before the attack on the embassy. I'm sure the State Department was having a horrific day. They thought this was related. It wasn't they screwed up. By the next morning the President and Hillary were telling Americans terrorists had attacked the embassy. Yes Susan Rice was given some bad talking points and yes I believe they were probably politically motivated. Geeze are we really surprised by political spin?
The important thing is they did I study they looked at what went wrong and they made efforts to change things. Pointing fingers at this point does no good. That's what Hillary said. It was horrific lets make sure we do all we can to prevent a re-peat scenario.
I blame Bush for many many things. I've never blamed him for 9/11. In fact the days following I believe were the best in his Presidency. He was a cheerleader when America needed a cheerleader. We didn't spend time placing blame on anyone but those responsible and we took steps to make sure it could not happen again.
It's over mistakes were made but none were aggreious it's simply a crazy part of the world filled with some horrible religious fundamentalists. Chris Stevens knew that going in he took a great risk and he and others lost their lives. I wish the press and his friend John Mc Cain would spend half the time honoring that. Instead of continuing to beat this poor bloody dead horse.

I'm not attempting to assign blame for the laps of security in Benghazi. That has already been pinned on a low level operative and it's water over the dam. I certainly DO NOT hold Hillery Clinton responsible for that other that it was her people that screwed up and she's responsible for them but she can't possibly know every detail within the department. That's enough of the disclaimer.

The problem that continues to bother me are the lies and the refusal to be honest when they were denying what we all knew, that it was in fact a terrorist attack.. Both Leon Panetta and General Dempsey, the chairman of the joint Chiefs of Staff testified before congress that they knew within a matter of hours that the attack of the consulate was indeed a terrorist attack. Two days after the attack Hillery was blaming that damn movie.

They are still not giving the entire chain of events to the congressional committees and when Hillery went into her "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE" rant she was plainly running interference for Obama. The only reason for not telling it truthfully when it happened was their attempt to get past the election. As is usually the case, when you tell one lie you'll soon have to tell another to cover the first one and so on. She was a good and loyal servant to His Majesty and she played her roll, covering his ass almost perfectly. We'll see if he will pay it forward in '16.

DA, don't you recall that this was a big point of discussion in the debate between Romney and Obama? As just about every news organization in America pointed out after the debate, Obama, on the day after the Benghazi attack, referred to the attack as "an act of terror."
