No, in your example, you said X + X = 4. You then said that X can not =1 or 3.

My example says science makes X=2, religion makes X=5.

I didn't change the answer to the equation.

BTW God created human nature not with sin but with harmony
where body/mind/spirit are made in the image of God/Christ/HolySpirit.

So our original nature is HARMONIOUS not sinful or separated
or out of balance with nature or God. the whole point is to try to get
back to that spiritual harmony, and that is what the sacrifice of Christ
means is the break in the cycle of karma or sin that has kept us trapped in the
past, and to pay debts forward to create a better future where we don't keep
repeating the same tragic past, but heal relations and live in peace and harmony.
so the gift of forgiveness that Jesus Christ represents collectively allows that
freedom to break free from past patterns of abuse and unforgiven conflicts
so we can work together toward peace and justice not fight in fear and division.

So that is how it is OK
if one person has X + X = 4
and another has X + X =5.

The same RULES OF MATH apply to each system or problem.

Another Example:
I know Christians who will say God is Love,
and nontheists will say God is Truth.

Love of Truth and True Love are
NOT the same thing, 4 is NOT the same as 5,
but the people are putting THOSE values in
the same POSITION in their respective patterns or equations in life.
So they are EQUIVALENTS across the two DIFFERENT SYSTEMS
that are NOT THE SAME.

I see Buddhists who look at Wisdom
or look at Creation. Some who look at the
laws of Life or the laws of the Universe.

Clearly Creator and Creation are NOT the SAME.

It is OKAY if one person is saying
the main principles in life are
WISDOM and COMPASSION
while another says it is
TRUTH and LOVE

So there can be CLOSE parallels or
some not seeming related at all,
but the point is to identify which values
or concepts people assign to the variables
in their equations, and LINE those UP.

It does NOT make them the same.

My whole point is to STOP trying to make them the same,
accept people's cultural and religious differences like you
would differences in LANGUAGE and just line up the
EQUIVALENTS across the systems in order to
COMMUNICATE without conflict or making one person's system wrong.

If my system is based on X + X = 4 and X*X= 4
then X = 2 is the right answer for mine.
And if yours is X + X = 5 where X = 2.5
then 2.5 IS the right answer for you and
2 would be WRONG though it works for me. So it is wrong to judge each other
for why our answers come out differently if we
are under two different systems or solving two different problems
with different values.

Both are answers are RIGHT in their RESPECTIVE contexts.
And they are PARALLEL to each other.

One Arm it is the PATTERNS and parallel structure
or relations that are Universal, not the values or variables themselves.

If we look at the structures and patterns, we can agree what is going on
and why we are getting different answers per system.
Instead of fighting over whose values and whose variables
all the other groups should follow which is not necessary.
We don't all need to speak English or Spanish to communicate
as long as we can translate back and forth between languages.
In fact, it is even more important to have interpreters or translators
so we DON'T fight over language.

I see where our communication problem is. I thought in your example X + X =4, that 4 was the answer. So I was giving you examples of how religion forces the wrong answer, no matter how much it's wrong. (i.e. 2+5=4)

Using your example seems to be confusing.

So, lets simplify it.

1+2=?

Solve for ?

Science tells us that ?=3
Religion tells us, ?=whatever feels right.

The idea in this example is, everyone is trying to solve the same question, with the same information. The question is, how do some people get the answer wrong?
