Philosophically, I've learned to deal with the past. Since he died (was killed in prison) and my so-called mom passed (she let him get away with this for her own security) I've finally at least come to a type of peace with this tragedy. I'm still filled with anger just trying to get out, and maybe one day.......

I raised three little girls with my wife, and all are well adjusted marine wives, so no problems there......

Here we go!!! I strongly agree with most of your post Rich. The only part I struggle to gain understanding of or agree with is: "Unfortunately, because of the society in which we live and the "christian" church, people have to put that stuff front and center, and it shouldn't be that way." I don't understand how a particular group can effect the behavior of a gay or straight person. A person's choice to be flamboyant and identify themself as gay first isn't anyone else's doing. I don't get the "gay pride" celebrations either. If you are gay or straight you should enjoy your life and not worry about what other people think.

Personally I try to just see people for the way they treat others.
